COMMON NAME: Vitamin B3

 

Vitamins are essential, organic nutrients our body needs for metabolism and other biochemical activities body systems require for life. Nicotinic acid and nicotinamide are the two forms of niacin, an essential vitamin. Formally identified in 1937 as a B-complex vitamin, it is required by all living cells.
