Found In Nature
The locations of Biotin in nature vary. In terms of our consumption of the vitamin, there are several foods that are rich with biotin. Such foods are dairy products (such as milk and cheese), yeast, flour, whole-grain cereal, eggs, fish, cabbage, potatoes, beef, liver, kidney, mushrooms, bananas, tomatoes, nuts, broccoli, and others. A diet consisting of these is usually suggested to correct brittle nails (this is due to the fact that biotin is water soluble and thus helps the nails be able to absorb water). More locally, biotin is also produced in the intestines in which it is utilized by the body for growth (like the production of fatty acids) and metabolism (production of digestive enzymes).
