 Sheridan's Media Center offers a
wide variety of resources. Over 10,000 books and reference materials
are available to students and teachers. Computer terminals offer online
access to catalogs, encyclopedias, and Internet sites for research use
and information on Golden Sower selections and children's authors.
Media
Center goals are to help learners discover what they need to do, what
they can use, where they can find it, what information they can use,
how they can put information together, and to evaluate how well they
did. With these skills, learners can tackle any information need
throughout life.
Sheridan's Media Center meets students' needs by offering:

Program.

How you can help your child:
-- READ, READ, READ! Read aloud to him or her.
-- Visit the library.
-- Select books at the appropriate reading level. Use the "Five Finger Rule."
