LPS will host two receptions celebrating Student art in May. Elementry Art students whose work has been selected for the year-long Venutres In Partnership Exhibit will be honored at a reception May 6, 1:00-3:00 at the district offices. After May 7 these 218 works of art will be delivered to over 100 VIP Lincoln businesses for display.
The LPS Curriculum department will host a reception for Secondary Art students May 24, 5:00-7:00 PM at the district office, 5901 O Street. The 150 works of art in the secondary art exhibit will remain on display at the district offices through March 2002.
VIP Art Reception for Elemenary Art students whose work has been selected for the 2001-2002 traveling art exhibit. The reception to honor these artists will be held this Sunday at LPSDO from 1:00-3:00. Families and friends are welcome. Punch and cookies will be served. Students will be able to pick up their award certificates at the reception. Certificates that are not picked up at the reception will be sent to the student's school. The new Elementary art banners will also be on display The Secondary Honors Art Exhibit reception forMiddle and High School students Spotlight On Art Exhibit will be held May 24, 5:00-7:00 PM at LPSDO. Punch and cookies will be served.
